Mrs. Lillia Lockhart

WRENS, Ga. - Mrs. Lillia Mae Lockhart, 87, of Howard Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at Jefferson County Hospital, Louisville.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Baptist Church, Norwood, with the Rev. Lester Woods officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lockhart, a native of Warren County, was a homemaker and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Gonnie King, Augusta; two daughters, Ree Davis, Dublin, and Jessie K. Sims, Wrens; a stepson, Willie Albert Lockhart, Wrens; two stepdaughters, Mattie Trimble, Stapleton, and Ann Lockhart, New York; a brother, Sam King, Norwood; two sisters, Reather Bell King, Convert, and Rose Johnson, Philadelphia; and 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerel King, Robert Lee King, Phinizy King, Gary Brown, Dwayne Nelson, Benjamin Trimble, James Henry and Charles Freeman.

Freeman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
