BROOKLET, Ga. - Mrs. Alberta Shuman Burnsed, 88, of Black Creek Community, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, Bulloch County, with Kurt Bacon, Emory Proctor and Dermon Newman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Burnsed, a native of Bulloch County, was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Rodney Burnsed, Statesboro; two daughters, Charlotte Bell, Statesboro, and Emogene Bacon, Pembroke; two sisters, Dorena Widenmier and Lois Roberts, both of Ridgeland; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home, Statesboro.
