GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Rev. Danny W. Barnes, 77, of Faith Home Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church with the Revs. Leland S. Scott and Reuel Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Barnes, a native of Lumberton, N.C., was an Army veteran of World War II and was co-founder and executive director of Faith Home rehabilitative facility. He was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Aline Dove Barnes; a son, Roy Williams, Fountain Inn; two daughters, Kathy Sudduth, Ninety Six, and Pat Gunter, Greenwood; a brother, James Barnes, Laurinburg, N.C.; a sister, Bessie Roller, Laurel Hill, N.C.; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Harley Funeral Home.
