LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. John Robert Gwyn Sr., 67, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
Graveside services with full military honors and Masonic rites will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, with Charles Gray officiating.
Mr. Gwyn, a native of Glades Springs, Va., had retired as a master sergeant from the Army and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of Collingwood Masonic Lodge 457, Toledo, Ohio, Scottish Rite Bodies and American Legion Post 178, Augusta.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Gwyn; a son, John Robert Gwyn Jr., California; a daughter, Sarah Louise Hayes, Hephzibah; two brothers, Kenneth Gwyn, California, and Joseph Gwyn, Virginia; and three grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Harlem Masonic Lodge, Harlem.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road, Martinez.
