Mr. Octavio Rivera Sr., 75, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Doctors Hospital.
There will be no local services.
Mr. Rivera, a native of Utuado, Puerto Rico, had retired as a mason.
Survivors include his wife, Ines Cortes Rivera; four sons, Luis Rivera, Miguel Rivera and Fernando Rivera, all of Augusta, and Octavio Rivera Jr., Puerto Rico; a sister, Lydia Rivera, Puerto Rico; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road, is in charge of local arrangements.
Utuado Memorial Funeral Home, Puerto Rico, is in charge of arrangements.
