AIKEN - Mr. Perrin Phillip Herrin, 72, of Mohawk Drive, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Baptist Church with the Revs. Kenneth Nelson and Robbie Vance officiating. Burial will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Herrin, a native of Aiken, was a Navy veteran of World War II and had retired as a postal carrier. He was a member of National Rural Letter Carriers Association and Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Gayle Whitaker, Charlotte, N.C., and Sharon H. West and Michelle H. Hudgins, both of Aiken; a brother, J.P. Herrin, Newberry; four sisters, Cleora H. Henkes, Evelyn H. Finnegan and Frances H. Botkin, all of Aiken, and Lorena H. Wood, Trenton; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harley Henkes, Clair Henkes, Donnie Herrin, Alan Herrin, Tracy Wood and Bobby Joe Wood.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shellhouse Funeral Home.
