POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Mrs. Doris Bell Chandler, 74, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Health Center of Pompano.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, Martinez, with the Rev. David Hakes officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery, Augusta.
Mrs. Chandler, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker and a member of Senior Friends and Augusta Seventh Day Adventist Church, Augusta.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne L. Chandler, Augusta, and Gregory P. Chandler, North Augusta; four daughters, Sandra L. Alongi, Long Island, N.Y., Marsha L. Esterline, Florida, Starr E. Halm, California, and Tiffanie J. Newman, Thomson; two brothers, Richard L. Dilegge, Florida, and Charles Dilegge, Tennessee; and 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Chandler, Gregory Chandler, Rick Esterline, Ed Newman, Richard Dilegge and Carl Cushman.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
