CHARLESTON, S.C. - Butler High graduate Jeff Bolton scored 25 points and Tyrone Nelson had a career-high 13 points as the College of Charleston stayed perfect in the Southern Conference with an 86-65 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday.

Center Jody Lumpkin added 12 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks for the Cougars (11-2, 3-0).

Sean Peterson led Georgia Southern (4-9, 0-2) with 24 points, while Julius Jenkins added 15.

Aiken Tech 82, Truett McConnell 53

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Terrance Callahan led all scorers with 22 points, and the Knights (11-3) returned from a 20-day layoff by routing Truett McConnell.

Andrew Duke added 14 points for Aiken Tech, which had an eight-point lead (29-21) at halftime before turning it into a blowout during the final 20 minutes.

Curtis Woods and Q.B. Scott chipped in nine points apiece.

Paine 98, Tuskegee 75

Yari Scott came off the bench to score a game-high 21 points, leading four players in double figures, as the Lions (7-2, 4-1 SIAC) rolled to victory.

Colin Jamerson (19 points), Gustavous Griffin (13 points) and Willie Adkinson (13 points, 10 rebounds) also had big games.

Amos Brittian (nine points) and MacDaniel Young (eight) gave the Lions solid contributions coming off the bench.

Tuskegee women 87, Paine 40

The Lady Lions (2-7, 1-3 SIAC) shot only 16 percent (13-for-73) from the field and committed 25 turnovers in suffering the 47-point loss on their home floor.

Germaletta Dyson (13 points, 11 rebounds) had a double-double and was Paine's only player in double figures in either category.
