Mrs. Viola Lloyd

NORTH AUGUSTA - Mrs. Viola Carter Lloyd, 62, of Sycamore Drive, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Edgefield, with the Rev. J.T. Tate officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lloyd, a native of Edgefield County, was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she was church mother.

Survivors include her husband, Frankie Lloyd; three sons, James Franklin Lloyd and Roderick Anthony Lloyd, both of Augusta, and Patrick Kenneth Lloyd, North Augusta; four brothers, Willie Carter, Belvedere, Henry Carter, Edgefield, and Frank Carter and Harry Carter, both of Augusta; four sisters, Marie Simpkins, Augusta, Rosalee Holmes, North Augusta, Mary Thomas, Belvedere, and Shirley E. Johnson, Gouldsboro, Pa.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence or at G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary.
