KITE, Ga. - Mr. Herman Lamar Williams, 73, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Medical Center of Central Georgia, Macon.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tomlinson Funeral Home, Swainsboro, with Joseph Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Swainsboro.
Mr. Williams, a native of Emanuel County, was an Air Force veteran and had retired as a sheetmetal mechanic from Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Warner Robins.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hooks Williams; two sons, Larry Thomas Williams, Cochran, and Danny Lamar Williams Sr., Gray; two daughters, Sylvia Williams, Gray, and Virginia Williams, Cochran; six brothers, Sherrill Williams, Jerome Williams and Glen Williams, all of Kite, Elton Williams, Millen, Woodrow Williams, Bolingbroke, and Roland Williams, Milledgeville; two sisters, Lynette Watson, Jeffersonville, and Edith Pundt, Wadley; and six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
