STATESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Kenneth Beasley, 87, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Jack Anderson and the Rev. Will Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Beasley, a native of Bulloch County, had retired as a farmer and was owner of a woodcutting business. He was a former member of Golden K and a member of Bulloch County Wildlife Club, Georgia Farm Bureau and Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Arneta Blackburn Beasley; a son, Ray Beasley; two daughters, Annette McEachin, Marietta, and Jane Johnson, Lawrenceville; two sisters, Joanna Jones and Dorene Perkins, both of Statesboro; and eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Perkins, Dwayne Perkins, Larry Bowen, David DeLoach, David Blackburn and Kelly Jones.
Memorials may be made to: Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 1529 Metts Road, Statesboro, GA 30461.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
