Mr. Grady Lee Shuman, 74, of Tallwood Way, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Doctors Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crestview Baptist Church with the Revs. K.C. Stevens, Phillip Winsett and Lester Clark officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown.
Mr. Shuman, a native of Toombs County, was a Navy veteran of World War II and had retired as a welder. He was a member of Ironworker Union 709, Georgia Sheriff's Association and Crestview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mollie W. Shuman; two daughters, LaTrell Gilbert and Connie Shuman, both of Hephzibah; two stepsons, Troy Wilson, Evans, and Dennis Wilson, Augusta; three stepdaughters, Brenda Tatum, Augusta, Shirley Harrison, Hephzibah, and Diane Grubs, Blackville, S.C.; two brothers, W.L. Shuman, Vidalia, and Dennis Wilson, Augusta; a sister, Erline Jones, Vidalia; and 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Crestview Baptist Church.

Friends may call at the residence or at Poteet Funeral Home, Peach Orchard Road.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
