Mr. Solomon Gause Sr.

BARTOW, Ga. - Mr. Solomon Gause Sr., 60, of South Bartow Road, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tarver's Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. K.E. Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Gause, a native of Bucksport, S.C., was a minister and former custodian at Louisville Academy, Louisville. He was a member of Tarver's Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, George T. Bess, Bartow, Solomon Gause Jr., Sandersville, and Mark Zell Gause, Mitchell; his mother, Agnes Mishoe Gause, Conway, S.C.; five brothers, Sylvester Gause, Allendale, S.C., Quincy Gause and Terry Gause, Conway, Boston Gause, Burlington, N.J., and Wheeler Gause, Baltimore; and six sisters, Amanda Gause, Columbia, Beulah Smith, Staten Island, N.Y., Wendy Thomas, South River, N.J., LaVonne Erskine, Queens Village, N.Y., Juanell A Faison, San Francisco, and Deloist Gause, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Willie Stephens, James Tarver Sr., Enoch Walters, Michaun Tarver, Willie J. Tarver Jr., Eugene Green and Floyd Curtis.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Tarver's Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Friends may call at the residence or at Hudson Mortuary, Wadley.
