TENNILLE, Ga. - Mr. Robert Floy Billue, 80, of Georgia Highway 15, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Milledgeville.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Tennille Baptist Church with the Revs. Milton Dwelle and Mark Jones officiating. Burial will be in Nunn-Wheeler Cemetery, Wilkinson County.
Mr. Billue, a native of Wilkinson County, was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a research director, executive vice president and a member of the board of directors for Thiele Kaolin Co. He was former chairman of Washington County Easter Seals and a member of Tennille Rotary Club, where he was former president, and Tennille Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and former Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Council Billue; a son, Robert F. Billue Jr., Aiken; a daughter, Jan Billue Wynne, Sandersville; a brother, Cecill Billue, Dublin; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Sam Smith, Carl Forrester, Avis Billue, Franklin Council, Jack Bernard, Robert Bridges, David Paul Hulbert Jr. and Marshall Bates.
Pallbearers will be employees of Thiele Kaolin Co. and members of Tennille Rotary Club.
