Slams columnist 121700 - The Augusta Chronicle

I appreciate Chronicle political columnist and editorial writer Phil Kent's conservative politics. I appreciate his thorough research - in his Dec. 14, column Mr. Kent quotes Fitzgerald, Stratton, Roberts, Blackstone, Wells, and Wilde.

But this is the "rottenest" piece I think he has ever written. The whole column was mean and mean-spirited. Unlike Dorian Gray, Mr. Kent does not remember that at one time he was (probably) a decent human being.
