WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Roy Keith Hood Jr., 82, of Fourth Street, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta.
Graveside services, with full military honors, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Burke Memorial Gardens with Dr. Al Wright and the Rev. Harold Rowland officiating.
Mr. Hood, a native of Alabama, had retired from the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He also had retired from Perfection Industries. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Roy K. Hood III and Mike Hood, both of Waynesboro; a daughter, Barbara Long, Martinez; three sisters, Louise Bagwell, Pontotoc, Miss., Martha Cordova, Hespria, Calif., and Mary Gadsden, Lavonia; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Barfield, John Flakes, Russell Flakes, Woody Hayes, Bob Scott, B. Lamar Murray and Tim Lively.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of a military honor guard.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
