STATESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Harry David Garrett, 56, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church with W.H. Durrence and George Daunhauer officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
Mr. Garrett, a native of Greenville, S.C., was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a telephone engineer at McCall-Thomas Engineering Inc. for 32 years. He was a member of Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, where he was a member of Virgil Agan Bible Study.
Survivors include his wife, Judy B. Garrett; a son, Stephen Lee Banks, Statesboro; a daughter, Heather Banks Moses, Statesboro; two brothers, Calvin Garrett, Grovetown, and Doug Garrett, Orangeburg, S.C.; and two sisters, Nancy Nivens and Carol Croft, both of Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Michael Garrett, Steven Garrett, Richard Croft, Tommy Garrett, Lee Nivens and Greg Whitson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jake A. Futch Funeral Home.
