2000-2001 schedule

Entry fee $550 per team, including big fish pot. Pick your best buddy and fish two days, Saturday and Sunday. Two-day totals determine the winners. Points for Team of the Year and Hall of Fame Classic will be awarded to all teams, with the top 100 teams invited to fish the Classic, a $90,000 event. Big bass award $500 each day. Bart Blackburn and Joe Ludwick, 14 pounds, 14 ounces (Brown and Mock won second with a bigger fish - 5 pounds, 2 ounces - than Blackburn and Ludwick). Big fish: Gambrell and Suggs, 5 pounds, 10 ounces. Nine teams in the field.

Entry fee is $30. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Chuck's Lakeside Marine, Willoughby Ford of Thomson, Ga., Sportsman's Link of Martinez, Rick's Paint & Body of Martinez and White Columns Inn of Thomson. They will be held every Saturday from safe light until 3 p.m., until further notice out of Little River Marina. Tournaments will not be held when dates conflict with Clark Hill Committee events. The Classic, which features a $5,000 guaranteed first-place purse, will be held the last weekend of February from safe light until 4 p.m. Entry fee is $60 per team, $10 of which goes into the big fish pot.
