EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mr. Willie James Page Jr., 66, of U.S. Highway 378 East, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony C. Page and Dr. E.L. Cain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Page, a native of Greensboro, Ala., had retired from International Paper and was a Mason. He was a member of Willow Springs Baptist Church, where he was a member of Senior Choir and Trustee Board.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth Rhynes Page; four sons, Patrick Page, Edgefield, Robert Wiggins, Colorado Springs, Colo., Joe Clark, Greensboro, and Donald Page, Long Island, N.Y.; one daughter, Carrie Sawyer, Greensboro; two stepsons, Joe Stevens, Trenton, and Malvin Stevens, Upper Marlboro, Md.; three stepdaughters, Margaret Abney, Johnston, Betty Weaver, Saluda, and Iris Wilson, Ward; four brothers, Melvin Page, Orangeburg, Stonewall Page and Robert A. Cannon, both of Cincinnati, and Joshua C. Page, Norfolk, Va.; and 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Masons.
Friends may call at the residence or at Butler & Sons Funeral Home, Saluda.
