Mrs. Hazel Kelley



LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Hazel Mims Kelley, 85, of North Washington Street, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rees Funeral Home with the Revs. John Rhodes and John Pike officiating. Burial will be in Lincolnton City Cemetery.

Mrs. Kelley, a native of Lincoln County, was a homemaker and a member of the Guild and Lincolnton United Methodist Church.

The family said, "She was a wonderful and devoted mother, sister, daughter and mother-in-law."

Survivors include a son, William Sheldon Kelley, Lincolnton; and a brother, William Kelley Mims, Savannah.

Pallbearers will be Dan Pitts, William Cartledge, Bryan Mims, Lee Chomskis, Charles Estes and Allen Holloway.

Memorials may be made to United Hospice, 2604 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909; or to American Cancer Society, c/o Mildred Fortson, P.O. Box 96, Lincolnton, GA 30817.

Friends may call at the residence.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
