Mrs. Inez Thompson Gross, 86, of Tobacco Road, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church, Wrens, with the Rev. Leroy Britt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Gross, a native of Wrens, had retired as a cook from Richmond County Board of Education after 40 years and was a member of Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Gross and Jimmie Gross Jr., both of Augusta; two daughters, Sarah Broadwater and Clara Loggins, both of Augusta; three sisters, Annie M. Robinson, Addie P. Harris and Lillian Knighton, all of Augusta; and 21 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William A. Broadwater, Steven M. Broadwater, Fernando Clark, Michael Perry, Alvin White, Milow Robinson and Jeffery Gross.
