Mr. Dietrich "Dee" Oellerich III, 20, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Hephzibah City Cemetery, Hephzibah, with the Rev. John Raborn officiating.
Mr. Oellerich, a native of Richmond County, was employed by Kuhlke Construction Co. and was a student at Augusta State University.
The family said, "He was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend."
Survivors include his parents, Dee Jr. and Donna Oellerich, Hephzibah; two sisters, Maria Daley, North Augusta, and Heidi Oellerich, Hephzibah; his paternal grandmother, Martha T. Oellerich, Hephzibah; and his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Bootsie Powell, Augusta.
Pallbearers will be Owen Lavender, Patrick Bentley, Kyle Bentley, Reuben Spivey, Ray James, Doyte Chaffin, Theo Carson and Trey Brocato.
Honorary pallbearers will be his classmates.
Memorials may be made to Augusta Rescue Mission, 526 Walker St., Augusta, GA 30901.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery and at the residence of his parents, 1055 McCall Road, after the burial.
Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, is in charge of arrangements.
