AIKEN - Mrs. Anne Ford Powell, 74, of York Street, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. William R. Johnson officiating. Burial in Bethany Cemetery will be private.
Mrs. Powell, a native of Lakeview, had retired as a real estate broker from Eulalie Sally Co. She was an International Life Master in bridge and had received Goren Training Recognition. She was a member of Green Boundary, Palmetto Golf Club and First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Anne Morris Powell, Aiken; three sisters, Eunice Rogers, Clio, Edith Christenson, Atlanta, and Gladys Fore, Latta; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 224 Barnwell Ave., Aiken, SC 29801; to Oncology Educational Nursing Fund, 1350 Walton Way, 10 West, Augusta, GA 30901; or to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box K, Aiken, SC 29802.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Shellhouse Funeral Home.
