ATHENS, Ga. -- Shon Coleman scored 15 points and Georgia used a dominant inside game to overwhelm Coastal Carolina 102-69 Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (3-3) outrebounded their winless opponent 48-34, and Georgia centers Anthony Evans and Robb Dryden scored 13 points apiece. D.A. Layne scored 14 for Georgia.
Coastal (0-4), whose 6-foot-6 Oliver Hinckson was their only player over 6-foot-4, trailed by a point with 5:52 to go in the first half after a 3-pointer by Carl Moser made it 23-22. The Bulldogs then reeled off 18 straight points, building to a 41-22 lead after a turn-around in the lane by Evans with 21 seconds to go in the half.
Torrey Butler led Coastal with 21 points.
Moser scored 13 points and Derrick Robinson added 12 for the Chanticleers.
