If parents can't afford to feed their children, how can they justify building a new house?
How can the Richmond County Board of Education justify spending over $4 million for an administration building when there isn't enough money to fund paraprofessionals?
In addition, there are hundreds of students in rundown portable classrooms, schools without Internet access, and classes without computers.
I believe I speak for most parents when I say that I would rather my tax dollars go toward having an extra set of hands and up-t- date technology in my child's first grade class. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the students of Richmond County be the Board of Education and school Superintendent Dr. Charles Larke's first priority, not themselves?
