CLEARWATER - Mr. Fred C. Key, 76, of Church Street, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Woodridge Baptist Church, North Augusta, with the Rev. Ronald Hasty officiating. Burial will be in Hollow Creek Cemetery, Aiken.
Mr. Key, a native of Aiken County, had retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant. He was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hatcher Franklin Key; a son, Charles Franklin, North Augusta; four daughters, Evelyn Napier, Beech Island, and Myrtle Hammett, Shirley Weatherford and Barbara Smith, all of North Augusta; and 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Russell Kelly, William Newton, Jerry Preachers, Aaron Ramsey, John K. Johnson and Marion Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Woodridge Baptist Church.
Friends may call at the residence of Myrtle Hammett, 205 Forest Drive, North Augusta.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley.
