BEECH ISLAND - Mr. Lewis "Peck" Green Sr., 61, of Beech Island Avenue, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Runs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. C.W. Phinizy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Green, a native of Old Ellington, was a truck driver and a member of Runs Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Shorts Green; two sons, Lewis Green Jr., Columbia, and Vernon Ryans, Jackson; a daughter, Alisa Ryans, Beech Island; two brothers, Arthur Bush, North Augusta, and William Green, Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Annie Mae Williams, Jacksonville, and Blanche Green and Marie Hardwick, both of Jackson; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Neals, Horace Ryans, Luther Wright, Charles Brown, Charles Williams, Melvin Stevens and Arthur Wright.
