GREENSBORO, Ga. - Mr. John Lewis Dysart, 69, of Dogwood Lane, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Middle Georgia Hospital, Macon.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro with Dr. Ford G'Segner officiating.
Mr. Dysart, a native of Essex County, N.J., had retired as a programmer and production planner from Schering-Plough Corp., Kenilworth, N.J., and was former owner and operator of J & J Sports Shop, Bloomfield, N.J. He was a member of Reynolds Plantation host committee and a mentor at F.T. Corry Elementary School and a hunting safety instructor. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Dysart; two sons, Steve Dysart, Bozeman, Mont., and David Dysart, Blair, Neb.; a daughter, Carol Oedewaldt, Libby, Mont.; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Friends may call at McCommons Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
