SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Mr. George Edward Lamb Jr., 52, of South Wayland Avenue, died Monday, Nov. 13, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Lamb, a native of Augusta, had retired from the Army after 21 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia LeDeaux Lamb; three sons, Joseph Lamb, Staceyville, Iowa, and Kenneth Lamb Sr. and Christopher Lamb, both of Sioux Falls; his father, George Lamb Sr., Harlem; his mother and stepfather, Ann and Arnie Lowder, Summerfield, Fla.; two brothers, Otis Lamb, Omaha, Neb., and Tommy Lamb, Ladylake, Fla.; a sister, Sherri Lobman, Ladylake; and six grandchildren.
George Boom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
