AIKEN - Mrs. Etta Thornburg Findley, 70, of Willow Lake Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at St. John United Methodist Church with the Rev. M. Eugene Mullikin officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Mrs. Findley, a native of Montgomery, Ala., had retired as co-owner of Findley-Blackburn Real Estate Co. She was former president of Aiken Partnership Board of Directors at University of South Carolina Aiken; former president of Aiken Board of Realtors, where she was named 1982 Realtor of the Year; and vice president of Hospital Auxiliary of Aiken County.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Findley; four sons, Richard Daniel Findley, Columbia, James Russell Findley and Michael Wade Findley, both of Aiken, and Robert Clay Findley, Houston; her mother, Pearl Pelt, Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Arthur Houghton, Pensacola; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hank Hayes, Bill Taylor, Clay Jones, Alan George, Charles Blackburn and Corky Clark.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Hospital Auxiliary of Aiken County.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Rivers Funeral Home.
