BLACKVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Frances Owen Smith, 92, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at Silver Springs Long Term Health Care, Williston.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Blackville with the Revs. Billy Mew and Lindsey Inman officiating. Burial with Eastern Star Rites will be at 3 p.m. in Grimes Cemetery, Gray's.
Mrs. Smith, a native of Hampton County, was a homemaker. She was a member of Edgar Mole Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Hardeeville, and First Baptist Church of Blackville, where she was a member of Naomi Sunday School Class and Grace Snuggs WMU Group.
Survivors include a son, Eddie R. Smith Jr., Hardeeville; two daughters, Leadria Smith Terry and Travis Smith Terry, both of Blackville; five sisters, Ruth Owen Mixon, Columbia, and Irma Owen Wessel, Lorraine Owen Ramsey, Myrtle Owen Robinson and Gladys Owen Heissenbuttel, all of Charleston; and 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Folk Funeral Home, Williston, is in charge of arrangements.
