CLEMSON, S.C. -- Clemson coach Larry Shyatt finally got the man he's been after.
Steve Allen, a senior at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will play for the Tigers next season, Shyatt said Wednesday. The 6-foot-10, 235 pound center, averaged 12.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a junior.
Allen is the fourth player Clemson has signed in the past week.
"Steve Allen is a player we've been recruiting for a long time and I have always felt he can be a tremendous interior player in our league," Shyatt said.
