Mr. Carl Routh, 52, of Martinez, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Sons Funereal Home, Columbia Road, Augusta, with the Rev. Barry Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown.
Mr. Routh, a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y., was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and owner of Routh Maintenance Contracting. He was a member of American Legion Post 192, Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Margitta Routh; a son, Freddy Charles Routh, Harlem; two daughters, Donna Routh and Jacquelin Hofilena, both of Martinez; his parents, Jack and Virginia Routh, Jekyll Island; two sisters, Diane Moore, Verdin, Ill., and Connie Chort, Houston; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Freddy Routh, Kevin Morris, Mark Hofilena, Todd Brantley, Bob Moore and Steve Short.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of American Legion Post 192.
Memorials may be made to Carl Routh Trust Fund, c/o Georgia Bank & Trust Co. (any location).
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
