Mrs. Myrtle Hall



AIKEN - Mrs. Myrtle E. Hall, 90, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue, with Jerry Lyles and Timothy Carter officiating. Burial will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hall, a native of Lexington County, had retired as a spinner from Graniteville Co. She was a member of Salvation Army Ladies Home League, League of Mercy and Bethel Baptist Church, where she was a founding member.

The family said: "She touched many lives and changed them for the better. She helped a lot of people."

Survivors include a son, Bernard Hall, Aiken; a daughter, Dorothy Coursey, Aiken; a sister, Susie Rodgers, Aiken; and four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Ennis, Robert Banks, James Cochran, Jeff Lahman, Hubert Redd Jr., Clyde Coursey, David Bogovitch, James Heirs, Buck Widener, Wallace Woodward, D.O. Fox, Ed Ford, Ira McKuhen and Larry Ennis.

Memorials may be made to Salvation Army, P.O. Box 439, Aiken, SC 29802; Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 401 Wire Road, Aiken, SC 29801; or to Gideons International, 2900 Lebanon Road, Nashville, TN 37214.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
