SELMA, Ala. - Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Alvin Walker, 59, of County Road 210, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Overbrook Cemetery, McCormick, S.C., with the Revs. Tom Smalley and Addison Belangia officiating.
Mr. Walker, a native of Philadelphia, had retired as an electrician and was a member of Sandtown Methodist Church.
The family said, "He was a very kind man who loved his family."
Survivors include his wife, Stella Chociemski Walker; five stepsons, Robert K. Peters, Maryland, Walter K. Peters, Joseph R. Borzumato and Dominic D. Borzumato Jr., all of Tampa, Fla., and Frank J. Peters, New York; three stepdaughters, Victoria R. Faircloth and Susie E. Murphy, both of North Carolina, and Catherine A. Cardona, Tampa; a sister, Debra G. Smalley, Lincolnton; and 19 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Rees Funeral Home, Lincolnton, is in charge of arrangements.
