BARTOW, Ga. - Mrs. Donnie Mae Gonder Smith, 83, of Brookins Drive, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Jones Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mack Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Christian Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, a native of Sandersville, was a homemaker and a member of Jones Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, where she was a missionary.
Survivors include seven sons, George Wesley Smith and Lonnie L. Smith, both of Bartow, Willie Lester Smith, Louisville, Lamar Smith and Leroy Smith, both of Wadley, and James Allen Smith and Willie James Smith, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Eddie Mae Smith, Orlando, Fla., and Mildred Wright, Bristol, Pa.; three sisters, Ella Mae Washington and Essie Tarver, both of Bartow, and Lestee Jenkins, Harrison; and 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be stewards and trustees of Jones Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and Mount Pleasant Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Friends may call at the residence or at Hudson's Mortuary, Wadley.
