AIKEN - Mr. Loren Abbott Ivey Jr., 63, of East Pine Log Road, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Millbrook Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Pillow and Drs. W. James Rivers and Eddie Leopard officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville.
Mr. Ivey, a native of Thomson, was an Army veteran and had retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Stone Ivey; two sons, Loren Frank Ivey and Tony Craps, both of Aiken; a daughter, Donna Ivey Johnson, Aiken; two brothers, Jerry Ivey, North Augusta, and Tony Ivey, Trenton; three sisters, Loretta Johnson, Columbia, Marie Trotter, Aiken, and Carolyn Harmon, Newberry; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Carter, Paul Summer, Joe Raines, Clair Henkes, Paul Wicker, Gary Buck, Billy Simmons and William E. Lewis.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Millbrook Baptist Church Sunday school class.
Memorials may be made to Millbrook Baptist Church Building Fund, 176 E. Pine Log Road, Aiken, SC 29803.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shellhouse Funeral Home.
