Mr. Robert Augustus Law Sr., 54, of Collier Road, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny D. Hatney officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Law, a native of Augusta, had retired as a bus driver from Richmond County Board of Education after 20 years and as a cab driver from Safety Cab and Curtis Cab after 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy C. Law; a daughter, Cherie B. Sims, Augusta; his father, Willie W. Law Jr., Augusta; four brothers, Willie W. Law III and Clarence P. Law, both of Augusta, and Griffin D. Law and George P. Law, both of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Milton Brown, William Taylor, Roosevelt Perkins, Ronald Holiday, Robert Ponder, Donal Taylor Jr. and Stanley Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Lucy C. Laney Class of 1965.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Home.
