HARLEM - Mr. Marshall E. Sprayberry, 84, of Swint Combs Road, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Starling Funeral Home with Dr. Don Manning and William Bush officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mr. Sprayberry, a native of Carthage, Miss., was an Air Force veteran of World War II and had retired as an accountant from Riverside Mills. He was a charter member of National Association of Accountants Augusta Chapter and a member of Summerville Exchange Club Fair and First Christian Church, where he was a member of Board of Treasure.
Survivors include his wife, Doris P. Sprayberry; a son, Ronald E. Sprayberry, Evans; two daughters, Marsha S. Foster, Harlem, and Gayle Sprayberry, Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Hosea M. Sprayberry, Magnolia, Ark.; two sisters, Dussie S. Lowery and Ellie S. Harrell, both of Carthage; and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
