MIDVILLE, Ga. - Mr. Hyland Clifford Bunn, 73, of Georgia Highway 17 East, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2000, at Burke County Hospital, Waynesboro.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Midville with the Rev. Buford Raffield and Dr. Sandra Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Midville City Cemetery.
Mr. Bunn, a native of Midville, was an Army veteran of World War II and had retired as a civil servant from Fort Gordon and as city administrator for the city of Midville. He was a member and founder of Midville Redbreast Festival and a member of Midville Lions Club, Midville Development Authority, where he was former president and First Baptist Church of Midville, where he was a deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie Raffield Bunn; four sons, Gregory Bunn, Waynesboro, Hyland Bunn, Augusta, and Jeffrey Bunn and Steven Bunn, both of Midville; a sister, Hilda Deen, Vidalia; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Bailey, Pat Dye, Jeff Mulling, Chris Oglesby, Bill Roundtree, Wayne Roundtree, Bill Thorne and Woody Thurman.
Honorary pallbearers will be members and former members of Lions Club of Midville and deacons of First Baptist Church of Midville.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
