Mrs. Frances Elizabeth "Betty" Byrd Craig, 75, of Stewart Avenue, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Allan J. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Craig, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker. She was a member of University Hospital Nursing Alumni Association, where she was treasurer, Sacred Heart Pastoral Council, where she was secretary, Augusta Deanery Council of Catholic Women, where she was president, Savannah Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, where she was vice-president, Sacred Heart School Parent Teacher Organization, where she was president, University Hospital Nursing Alumnae Association, where she was treasurer, Sacred Heart Cultural Center, where she was docent and a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Zeigler Craig Sr.; three sons, Richard Zeigler Craig Jr. and Daniel Joseph Craig, both of Augusta, and Roland Gardner Craig, Austell; two daughters, Susan Elizabeth Craig and Catherine Craig Folger, both of Augusta; her mother, Frances McCarty Byrd, Augusta; a sister, Joan Byrd Pope, Evans; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Z. Craig III, Craig E. Folger, Jerry D. Allison, Norman W. Griffin Jr., William Craig Griffin, C. Joseph Livingston, Warren W. Stewart and Craig Spinks.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of University Hospital Nursing Alumni Association.

The family will receive friends after a 7 p.m. rosary service until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
