OCONEE, Ga. - Mrs. Emma Tompkins Peck, 84, of North Brown Street, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Sandersville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Whatley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Peck, a native of Washington County, had retired as a clerk from the U.S. Postal Service, Key West, Fla., and was a homemaker. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harrell Clifton Peck; a son, Michael Owen Peck, Marietta; three brothers, Troy O. Tompkins, Norfolk, Va., Harold Tompkins, Virginia Beach, Va., and J. Allen Tompkins, Clyde, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Masonic Home of Georgia, Macon.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at May and Smith Funeral Home, Sandersville.
