Silver Bluff tops Jasper County

RIDGELAND, S.C. -- Unbeaten Silver Bluff opened up Region 6-AA play with a resounding 46-6 victory over Jasper County Friday.

Troy Williamson rushed for 137 yards on just four carries, including a 76-yard touchdown run to open up the Bulldogs' scoring in the first quarter. Williamson also scored on a 48-yard pass from Jamie Williamson.

Joe Wilson scored three touchdowns, on runs of 4, 16 and 17 yards. He rushed for 53 yards on five carries.

Silver Bluff improved to 6-0. Jasper County is 2-4.
