GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Alma Ruth Wiggins, 78, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, at Gibson Rest Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thomson First Baptist Church, Thomson, with the Rev. William South officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson.
Mrs. Wiggins, a native of Langley, was a homemaker. She was Baptist.
Survivors include four sons, William Emmitt Wiggins, Augusta, Raymond C. Wiggins, Greensboro, David O. Wiggins, Mitchell, and Weldon E. Wiggins, Warrenton; four daughters, Jeanette R. Goins, Warrenton, Patricia Jean Mayor and Alma Faye Cruz, both of Augusta, and Vanessa Dianne Reddick, Gibson; two brothers, David L. Rosier, Augusta, and Thomas Howard Rosier, Martinez; two sisters, Myrtle Smolts, Hephzibah, and Maggie Hardin, Augusta; and 34 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Wiggins, Adam Wiggins, Jerome Denton, Shawn Wiggins, Lee Kelly and Jamie Griffith.
Friends may call at the residence of David Wiggins or at Curtis Funeral Home, Thomson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
