SALUDA, S.C. - Mrs. Annie Myrtle Rowe Bartley, 80, of Heights Third Avenue, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Church with the Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Travis Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartley, a native of Saluda County, had retired as a textile employee and was a charter member of Emanuel Church, where she was Home Mission director, the oldest charter member and mother of the church.
Survivors include four sons, Edwin Cecil Bartley, Jerry Bartley, Freddie Bartley and Jimmy Ray Bartley, all of Saluda; a daughter, Betty Ann Bartley-Coats, Waterloo; a brother, Horace Edwin Rowe, Fallbrook, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Lowe, Saluda; and 14 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Bartley, Heath Bartley, Eddie Bartley, Corey Bartley, William Bartley, Sean Bartley and Jason Bartley.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29138.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ramey Funeral Home.
