LOS ANGELES - Mr. Moses Germany, 67, died Tuesday, August 29, 2000, at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. McKnight officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier.
Mr. Germany, a native of Columbia County, Ga., had retired as an educator and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
The family said, "He enjoyed his life and was always willing to lend a helping hand."
Survivors include his wife, Frances Germany; three daughters, Mary Reynolds, Tonya Pierson and LaVarsette Germany, all of Los Angeles; two brothers, Fred Germany, Los Angeles, and William Germany, Augusta; three sisters, Fannie Edwards and Marybell Germany, both of Augusta, and Corine Evans, Roanoke, Va.; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence of Janice Wilson, Augusta; or at W.H. Mays Mortuary, Augusta.
