TIGNALL, Ga. - Mr. Donald Ervin Harrison, 66, of North Hulin Avenue, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Independence United Methodist Church with the Revs. Harold Lawrence, Dale Fincher and Kathy Morris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Harrison, a lifelong resident of Wilkes County, was a livestock farmer. He was a member of Cattleman's Association, Farm Bureau and Independence United Methodist Church, where he was a trustee and a member of United Methodist Men.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Evans Harrison; two sons, Michael Donald Harrison and Jimmy Roy Harrison, both of Tignall; a brother, Roy Harrison Jr., Tignall; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dave Derrick, George Dixon, Doug Stevens, Gene Parker, Dan Whitener and Kirkland Dodson.
