JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Mr. Raphael Dominick DiFilippo, 84, of Hunters Lake Circle, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2000, at Pepper Hill Nursing Center, Aiken.

A memorial service will be at noon Thursday at Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bath, with the Rev. Joel Mundy officiating. Burial will be private.

Mr. DiFilippo, a native of Philadelphia, was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II and had retired from DuPont Co. He was a former member of Highland Park Golf Club, Aiken, and Marietta Senior Citizens Organization, Marietta, Fla. He was Catholic.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Lee Seigler, Jacksonville, and Barbara Ann Cottone, Lakeland; three brothers, Ed DiFilippo, Toms River, N.J., Tom DiFilippo, Drexel Hill, Pa., and John DiFilippo, Cape May, N.J.; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 2623 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30904.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Lee Ann Cantrell, 159 Trolley Line Road, Graniteville, on Thursday after the service.
