BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Welford Turner Goldston, 77, of Rawls Drive, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Batesburg-Leesville Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Goldston, native of Goldston, N.C., had retired as a controller of the Catlin Farish Division at Burlington Industries after 43 years. He was a former member of the Town Council of Graham and Board of Directors of Ponderosa Country Club. He served as president of the Elementary School Parent's Council, Leesville and was a member of Exchange Club and Batesburg-Leesville Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon and elder.
Survivors include his wife, Jane York; three sons, W.T. "Sonny" Goldston Jr., Aiken, Henry Marvin Goldston, Los Angeles, and George Michael Goldston, Mount Pleasant; a brother, James Edward Goldston, Wilmington, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home.
