How come all of a sudden poker machines are bad for everyone? They have been here for a long time. Now, since South Carolina banned them, they are supposed to be bad for Georgia.
I go to a local VFW and I promise you no one is upset or playing these machines to extremes. They are simply there if someone wants to play with them as a way to relax and unwind after a long day.
The people (at the VFW) have served their country and fought for the right to freely choose how they will live their lives. There are some veterans of foreign wars who enjoy coming to their club to play the machine for a little while ...
Now District Attorney Danny Craig wants to take these few minutes of relaxation from them. Are they hurting anyone or breaking any laws? I think there are bigger problems to worry about. If I'm wrong, someone please tell me.
